పచ్చి మిరపకాయలు: ౮

నునే - 3 / 4 టీ స్పూనులు
ఎండు మిరపకాయలు, తాలింపు దినుసులు, కరివేపాకు.

తాయారు చేయు విధానం:
పచ్చి మిరపకాయలను చిన్న చిన్న ముక్కలు గ కోసుకోవాలి. ఉల్లిపాయలు మాములు సైజు లో కట్ చేసుకోవాలి. ఒక గిన్నెలో నునే పోసి స్టవ్ మీద పెట్టాలి. నునే కాగాక పచ్చిమిరపకాయ ముక్కలు వేసి బాగా వేపాలి. వేగిన తర్వాత స్టవ్ కట్టేయ్యాలి. వేరే గిన్నె లో చింతపండు బాగా నానబెట్టాలి.

వేగిన పచిమిరపకయాలని ఒక గిన్నె లో వేసి, దానిలో ఉప్పు వేసి బాగా నాలాగా కొట్టాలి. పప్పుకుతి లాంటిది ఉంటె దానితో నలగాకోట్టవచు. అలా నలగగొట్టిన దానిలో చింతపండు నీళ్ళు పొయ్యాలి. దానిలో ఉల్లిపాయ ముక్కలు కలపాలి (పచివే. వేపల్సిన అవసరం లేదు). పచ్చి మిరపకాయలను వేపిన గిన్నె లోనే తాలింపు పెట్టి (ఎండు మిరపకాయలు, తాలింపు దిన్సులు, కరివేపాకు) తాలింపు ని పచ్చి పులుసు లో కలపాలి. పచ్చి పులుసు ని బాగా కలిపి ఉప్పు, పులుపు సరి చూసుకోవాలి. అవసరం అనిపిస్తే కొంచెం బెల్లం లేదా పంచదార కలపవచ్చు.

ఇంకా పచ్చి పులుసు రెడీ. మీ సూచనలు, సలహాలు సదా ఆహ్వానమే  :).

 


 

Chicken Pulusu

కావలసినవి:
చికెన్ - 500 graamulu
ఉల్లిపాయలు - 2
టొమాటో - 1
ఉప్పు - ౩ టీ స్పూనులు
కారం - 1 . 5  టీ స్పూనులు
పసుపు - తగినంత
అల్లం వెల్లుల్లి పేస్టు - 4 టీ స్పూనులు
కొతిమీర - తగినంత
చికెన్ మసాల - 4 టీ స్పూనులు
నునే - 10 టీ స్పూనులు

ఉల్లిపాయలు, టొమాటో ముందుగ కోసి పెట్టుకోవాలి. చికెన్ చిన్న ముక్కలుగ కోసి ఒక గిన్నె లో వేసుకొని బాగా కడగాలి. దానిలో ఒక 5 టీ స్పూనుల నునే, అల్లం వెల్లుల్లి పేస్టు, ఉప్పు, కరం, పసుపు వేసి బాగా కలపాలి. వేరే గిన్నె లో మిగిలిన నునే పోసి స్టవ్ మీద పెట్టాలి. తర్వాత ఉల్లిపాయలు వేసి వేగాక టొమాటో వేసి అది కూడా కొంచెం వేగాక.. ముందుగ కలుపుకున్న చికెన్ మిశ్రమాన్ని వేసేయ్యాలి. అలా ఒక 5 లేక 10 నిముషాలు ఉంచక (కలుపుతూ ఉండాలి లేకపోతె అడుగంటిపోద్ది) నలుగు గ్లాసుల నీళ్ళు పొయ్యండి. గిన్నె మీద ఏదైనా మూత పెడితే త్వరగా ఉడుకుతుంది. అలా ఒక 20 - 30 నిముషాలు ఉంచాలి. మధ్య మధ్య లో కలుపుతూ ఉండాలి. చికెన్ ముక్కలు ఉడికేదాకా ఉంచాలి. చికెన్ ముక్క ఉడికాక చికెన్ మసాల, కొతిమీర వేసేసి ఒక 2 నిముషాలు ఉంచి దించేయ్యడమే.

అంతే వేడి వేడి చికెన్ పులుసు రెడీ :) మీ అభిప్రాయాలూ తెలుపగలరు.

Prasthanam - Movie

 


 

One of the fine movies I have seen in recent past. Human emotions are shown in a brilliant way. The dialogue that comes during the movie title - 'Puranala nunchi avasarala kosam darulu vetukkuntu vellina vare kani hero lu villain lu evaru leru'. I may not be exact but thats the meaning and that has a lot of meaning. Its true that the real character of a person comes out in tough situation.. to be more precise in situations that lures or situations to protect him. It can start from a very simple lie.

The two main characters in the film - 'Saikumar' (Loknath alias Peddayana) and Sarwanand (Mitra). Loknath is a faithful rowdy to a village panchayat head (Balayya) who consistently used to win unanimously. When other village guys wants the seat, the panchayat head no longer wants to contest. In the spur of the moment, his son declares his willingness to contest only to invite death. Loknath steps into his shoes first as panchayat head then as the son of the peddayana on his request. With that he becomes step father to the two grand children (mitra and his elder sister). He gets a son as well. The girl doesn't used to like this where as Loknath completely used to follow his father without any hesitation.

As time passes, Loknath becomes MLA of gannavaram constituency (near by vijayawada). While Mitra completely involved in politics alongside his father, Loknath used to keep his son away from politics saying that 'Leadership should come by birth and not as a heritage'. This dialogue misleads everybody including audience (atleast me :-) ). With time his desire to become attraction, to become visible and to become the next leader of his father grows.

Loknath have some spur with Balireddy(Jeeva) in the same constituency who tries to get Granite guns which are actually belongs to some poor people. Balireddy failing in convincing Loknath, helps his rival Banagarravu (jayaprakash reddy), a comedy villain, in getting the party ticket to contest in next elections. Even after getting the seat, they actions a failure murder attempt on Loknath, who has already decided to contest as independent. In the mean time Mitra stops Bangarravu from filing nomination. Recognising Loknath's abilities, party invites him again and appoints Mitra as Youth President.

This sets fire in Loknath's actual son. In that fire, he, who is already addicted to drug, attempts rape and murder on their restaurant manager, who actually comes to cool his fire. This girl is the daughter of Loknath's faithful follower Basha. Basha who kept his life at risk earlier for Loknath could not digest this in return his faithfulness to Loknath's family. He wants to take revenge.

This changes the equations. While Loknath's public image stops him talking in support of his actual son, His fatherliness tries to protect him inspite of all his mistakes. Balireddy takes advantage of this and gives bail to Loknath's son and adds fuel to fire. with this, he plans murder attempts on Mitra and his sister (who is a doctor and has given medical report against to his in the rape and murder case). While Mitra escapes, his siter and her husband gets killed. Loknath tries to protect his son even after this and Mitra comes to know this.

But loknath's son gets killed by Basha, who is actually being searched to kill by a police appointed by loknath. Even after that Loknath tries to kill Basha, not for revenge but to hide a truth. You have to see that truth on screen :-). But obviously, in the end evil succumbs to good, but in a more convincing way.

All in all, its a good film to watch. Everybody has performed good.. Saikumar and Sarwanand being highlight. Its a good film for Sarwanand after Gamyam. Seems he is one actor to watch upon.

 


 

Making of Pappucharu

నాకు పప్పుచారు అంటే చాల ఇష్టం. మెల్ బోర్న్  వచ్చాకే పప్పుచారు చెయ్యడం నేర్చుకున్న. ఈ తయారీ విధానం ఎవరికైనా పనికోచిన రాకపోయినా.. కనీసం నేను మళ్ళీ చుస్కోవటానికి ఈజీ గ ఉంటుంది అని పోస్ట్ చేస్తున్న. మీ అభిప్రాయాలూ తెలుపగలరు.

కావలసినవి :
కందిపప్పు: 3 / 4 గ్లాసు
ఉల్లిపాయ: 1 (పెద్దది)
టొమాటో: 1 (పెద్దది)
పచ్చి మిర్చి: 2

తయారి:

పప్పు ని ముందుగా కుకర్లో ఉడకబెట్టుకోవాలి. నీళ్ళు కొంచెం ఎక్కువ పోసిన పర్వాలేదు. పప్పు ఉడుకుతున్నప్పుడే చింతపండుని ఒక గ్లాసు నీళ్ళల్లో నానపెట్టుకోవాలి. బాగా పిసికి పిప్పి తీసివెయ్యాలి. పప్పు ని  కొంచెం ఎక్కువ విజిల్స్ వచ్చే వరకు ఉంచాలి. పప్పు ఉడికాక కొంచెం మెదిపితే మంచిది. ఉల్లిపాయ, టొమాటో కొంచెం పెద్ద ముక్కలు గ కొయ్యాలి. ఉల్లిపాయలు నిలువుగా ఐనా తరుగుకోవాచు. పెద్ద దాక (గిన్నె) లో నునే (4 - 5  టీ స్పూన్స్) పొయ్యాలి. నునే కాగాక, ఉల్లిపాయ ముక్కలు వెయ్యాలి. ఉల్లిపాయలు కొంచెం వేగాక, టొమాటో ముక్కలు కూడా వెయ్యాలి. అవి కూడా వేగాక, మూడు గ్లాసుల నీళ్ళు పొయ్యాలి.

చింతపండు నీళ్ళని పప్పు లో వేసి బాగా కలపాలి. అల కలిపినా పప్పుని, దాక లో బాగా మరిగిన నీళ్ళలో కలిపెయ్యాలి. పప్పు బాగా కలిసేటట్టు బాగా తిప్పాలి. దానిలో సరి పద ఉప్పు (౩ టీ స్పూన్స్), కారం (1 టీ స్పూన్) వేసుకోవాలి. పులుపు ఎక్కువ ఉంది అనిపిస్తే ఇంకొంచెం ఉప్పు వేసుకోవాచు.

అది అలా మరుగుతూ ఉండగా, ఒక కంచుడు లో తాలింపు (పచ్చి సెనగపప్పు, ఆవాలు, జీలకర్ర, కరివేపాకు, వెల్లుల్లి రెబ్బలు, ఎందు మిరపకాయలు, పచ్చి మిరపకాయలు) పెట్టుకోవాలి. తాలింపు సిం లో పెడితే మంచిది.. మాడకుండా ఉంటుంది. తాలింపు వేగాక ఆ తాలింపు మరుగుతున్న పప్పు చారు లో కలిపెయ్యండి. అంతే వేడి వేడి పప్పు చారు రెడీ :)

Sekhar Kammula's Leader

Leader is a story of a CM's son who wants to change the way politics are running in the state of Andhra Pradesh. CM hurts badly in in a bomb blast planned by his brother's son, dhanunjay. The discussion for next CM comes in to picture even before CM dies. Dhanunjay starts making arrangements to become next CM with the help of Party Leader, who is nothing but the brother of ex-CM.

CM has a son, who is working in USA, and is not involved in the politics even though his father is a CM. CM wants his Son to be next CM of the state and he tells this to his son just before he dies. This is a bit surprising.. Sekhar has shown that the CM has thoughts to see his son as CM but did not show any reason for not expressing it to his son. Everybody thinks that CM's son is not interested in politics and He also says that He will go to US. After the death of his father, he comes to know the various corruptions in which his father is involved. His father has a lot of money earned through corruption. Inspired by his father's last words, his mothers motivation and seeing how corruptions are affecting people.. he decides to become next CM of state.

He appoints one sufferer of his fathers corruption as his PA. Only experience he had is how to bribe various people in government. With the help of him and a TV reporter girl, he pens a plan to become CM. He gives 2cr of money to each MLA of their party saying his father has asked him to do so and will give 2cr after sometime, to keep them stick to his side. Two things here, one 4crs is not enough to buy an MLA and also you cant stick plaster to every MLA's mouth. He also buys the coalition party leader (Muniswamy) of govt to turn his side from dhanunjay.

Leader, along with his mother, meets party leader (Peddayana), his uncle to take oath from to make Leader as CM. Shocked by this development, He could not give full promise. In the party meeting to elect next CM, MLAs refuse to elect dhanunjay as CM, only to give shock to dhanunjay. The Money and Sympathy works on Leader side and becomes CM of A.P.

well, the person, who wants to change politics, changed him self by chosing an unethical way to become next CM. Whatever may be your intention, wrong is wrong. You cant keep doing bad things saying I am doing all this for good. ok... Leader takes charge of CM.. appoints same old corrupted MLAs as Ministers. He keeps belief in Bureaucrats. Sekhar could not find any corruption in bureaucrats surrounding CM. Leader's single agenda is to eradicate the corruption. doesn't it look funny.. the man who became CM through corruption wanted to eradicate corruption. So if he truly starts the process, first axe should be on him. looks like i am pin pointing too many things.

He proposes a bill in Assembly (similar to what loksatta mla jayaprakash narayan has proposed), giving full freedom to ACB (Anti Corruption Bureau) bringing all bureaucrats and people elected leaders under ACB. To his surprise, his own party people rejects it. But I didn't understand why he approaches opposition leader to accept this bill. He interacts with opposition leader and that brings in a change in him. He suggests to remove MLA's from the scope of bill inorder to pass the bill. I have never seen such opposition leaders.. JP says hundred such dialogues in assembly. Finally bill gets passed. ACB starts collecting lot of money.

with ACB in action, MLAs are under pressure with people under them are being attacked by ACB. They inturn brings pressure on CM. CM then promises them that their relatives will also be exempted from ACB.. this is to protect his post so that he can reach his target of collecting corrupted money.

Dhanunjay, in the mean time, utilizes the anguish in MLA's due to ACB attacks and starts turning them their side. He works with a single mission to bring down Leader from CM post. He tries to turn Muniswamy also to his side. To avoid this, Leader starts love thread with Muniswamy's daughter (of second wife). He puts marriage proposal to her, hearing which, Muniswamy turns Leader's side. But this is all Leader's action to protect his post to reach his goal.

He keeps compromising on things to protect his post, and finally he achieves the target money he wanted. Then he submits his resignation.. starts own party with help of bureaucrats in his CM's office. Obviously Leader wins the election.

While this film may appear to be real, i feel it is far from real. Its just a political drama.. all actions are inside single party. Politics does involve hell lot of things which needs a lot of dedicated human resources and money. It is possible to show anything in a movie.. but in real you cannot control things.

This is all just my view. The movie is nice to watch without any dirty dialogues and vulgarity. Another good attempt by sekhar kammula. If this 'Leader' can atleast make viewers think of whom to vote and whom not, sekhar will be more happy, I guess.

నా పూర్తి పేరు వెంకట శివ రామ కృష్ణా రావు.. చాల చిన్న పేరు కదా.. :) మా అమ్మ అసలు నాకు ఈ పేరు పెట్టింది మా పెద్ద తాతయ్య పేరు మీద. మా పెద్ద తాత పేరు వెంకయ్య. కానీ వెంకట అనేది చాలామంది పేరు లో మొదటగా ఉంటుంది కాబట్టి అసలు నన్ను ఆ పేరు తో ఎవరు పిలిచేవారు కాదు. స్కూల్ వరకు అందరూ శివ రామ కృష్ణ అని పిలిచేవాళ్ళు. పాలిటెక్నిక్ లో ఏ వి యస్ అని పిలిచేవాళ్ళు (ఇంటి పేరు అట్టా కనుక మొదటి మూడు పదాల్లో అక్షరాలని కలిపి ఏ వి యస్ అనేవాళ్ళు). ఇంజనీరింగ్ లో కొంత మంది శివ అని, కొంత మంది రామ కృష్ణ అని, ఇంకొంత మంది శివ రామ కృష్ణ అని పిలిచేవాళ్ళు. నాకు శివ అని పిలిస్తే ఇష్టం.

కానీ విచిత్రంగా ఉద్యోగం లో చేరక వెంకట అని పిలవడం మొదలు పెట్టారు. మొదట్లో అస్సలు నచ్చేది కాదు.. మొదట్లో పనిచేసింది తెలుగు వాళ్లతో కాదు.. వాళ్లకి తెలియదు కాబట్టి మొదటి పేరు తో పిలిచేవాళ్ళు. అలా దాదాపు పేరు మొత్తం కవర్ అయ్యింది. ఇంకా రావు ఒక్కటే మిగిలింది :). ప్రస్తుతం చాలా మంది శివ అనే పిలుస్తున్నారు. ఇది నా అసలు పేరు కధ. నాకో ముద్దు పేరు కూడా ఉందండోయ్ అదే 'బుల్లి బాబు'. 'బుల్లి' బాబు పేరు మాత్రం పెద్దదే :).

I wanted to start writing blogs from quite sometime but was lazy to start. Finally writing first blog :) sitting in a client office on sunday in Melbourne. Blogs are a good way to share thoughts with people. I hope I will keep blogging...
